Why casting vertical is hard
Your network is fast, until it runs out.
The same twenty faces
Casting from your own contacts is quick the first time and slow the fifth. Once you're shooting several series a month, you're re-using people your audience already recognises.
Nobody's calendar is real
You find someone right, then spend two days discovering they're on another set. Availability lives in DMs, and it's out of date by the time you read it.
Reels shot for the wrong screen
Generalist casting sites give you horizontal reels and headshots. You need to know how someone reads in 9:16, in close-up, in the format you're actually shooting.
What you get
Search, shortlist, book, done.
Search that matches how you cast
Filter by role type, language and accent, playable age, day rate, location and radius — and by the exact dates you're shooting. Save a search and re-run it on the next series.
Shortlists your team can actually use
Build named shortlists, compare vertical reels side by side, and share them internally. Seats for your casting director and your director, with view-only access where you need it.
Booking and payment, covered
Send an offer with dates, rate and terms. Fund it once accepted, the actor sees confirmed dates, and the payout releases after both sides confirm the shoot. A seven-day dispute window sits before any transfer.
A roster you can trust
Profiles and showreels are moderated before they go live. Contact details stay masked until a booking is accepted, so nothing moves off-platform before there's an agreement.

Questions
What producers ask first
I'm an independent producer, not a studio. Is this for me?
Yes. The account type covers studios, production companies and individual producers working under their own name. Verification adapts to what you are — a registered company provides company details, an independent producer verifies their identity and their production.
How deep is the roster?
We're opening to actors first and building the roster before we sell access, which is why you can see the real numbers on the homepage rather than a marketing figure. If the roster isn't deep enough for your brief yet, the honest answer is to wait — and we'd rather tell you that than take a subscription.
Do I have to subscribe to book someone?
No. Booking through the marketplace costs 12% commission and nothing else. The Producer plan buys unlimited roster access, advanced search, team seats and support — it's a volume tool, not a gate on hiring.
Are actors exclusive to the platform?
No, and they shouldn't be. What the platform guarantees is that the availability you see is the availability they've published, and that the payment is handled end to end.
What happens if I have to cancel a shoot?
Before you fund the booking, cancelling costs nothing. After funding, the terms you agreed apply, and the funds stay held by the platform until the situation is resolved rather than moving to either side automatically.
Who owns the footage and the image rights?
You do, on the terms you set in the booking. Image rights, usage and duration are part of the offer the actor accepts, so both sides agree in writing before the shoot rather than after it.
